STAM operates as a handling contractor alongside a private stevedoring group. It is equipped with efficient handling equipments for the handling of bulk solids and liquids as well as diverse cargo. The port of Bizerte-Menzel Bourguiba is composed of various

berths of lengths varying between 100 and 260 meters and with drafts of -9.3 to -9.8 m.

The port is equipped with a 5 ton port crane on rails, a weighbridge and two storerooms. The area of storage of goods is 32 Ha.

STAM has strengthened its handling capabilities through the acquisition of a quay crane with a capacity of 63 tons at 22 meters and has continued to invest in appropriate equipment and logistics for handling different categories of goods. These investments have enabled STAM to provide the best customer-service and reduce the cost of goods in transit at the port of Bizerte, which is equipped with a modern driveway access.
